Summary

[edit]
Description Members of the Hollywood Stars organization (left to right) George O'Donnell, Dale Long, Red Munger, Red Lynn, Bobby Bragan, Frank Jacobs and Gordon Maltzberger huddle around a radio to listen to the Seattle Rainiers vs. the San Diego Padres on September 6, 1953. If San Diego won, the Stars would win the 1953 Pacific Coast League pennant. As it happened, Seattle won, meaning the Stars and Rainiers shared the pennant.
