Description
English: Franz Hillebrand (1863–1926) was an Austrian philosopher and psychologist. He studied at the universities of Vienna and Prague. He founded the Institute for Experimental Psychology as a professor at the University of Innsbruck. The portrait photo is part of a photo album from 1902 for the early retirement of chemistry professor Karl Senhofer (1841–1904). His colleagues at the Faculty of Philosophy in Innsbruck dedicated the faculty album to him.


Deutsch: Franz Hillebrand (1863–1926) war ein österreichischer Philosoph und Psychologe. Er studierte an den Universitäten Wien und Prag. An der Universität Innsbruck gründete er als Professor das Institut für experimentelle Psychologie.

Das Porträtfoto stammt aus einem Fotoalbum um 1902 zur vorzeitigen Emeritierung von Chemieprofessor Karl Senhofer (1841–1904). Die Kollegen der damaligen Philosophischen Fakultät in Innsbruck widmeten ihm das Fakultätsalbum.
