Description

Bald Eagle State Forest, Clinton County.

Located at the headwaters of Jamison Run, the bog features a large area of open water surrounded by a forest of hemlocks, white pines, and mixed hardwoods. At the bog's edge is a mat of sphagnum moss covered with dense stands of highbush blueberry.
