Along Wilson Run, York County, within Apollo County Park. In the Susquehanna River Hills region of Lancaster and York Counties, hemlocks are confined primarily to deep, shady ravines. Sadly, many of these trees are infested with the hemlock woolly adelgid (Adelges tsugae), an exotic insect pest. |
