Description
English: I was visiting Northfield, MN to see my cousin perform in a music camp 2 years ago. I was with my mom, grandma, and grandpa. When my mom and grandma went to see some of their family in the twin cities, my grandpa and I went to the Northfield Historical Society to take a tour of it. Northfield is famous for having the honor of having the only bank that the James-Younger gang couldn’t rob. On September 7, 1876, the gang tried robbing the the First National Bank of Northfield. When the citizens found out, they came out guns blazing, ready to fight off the gang. Seven minutes later, two of the gang members were dead, and the surviving six were all wounded. This a picture of the actual bank! It’s still around!
