"SIGNIFICADO ESCUDO: El cual completa toda la simbología que caracteriza toda la riqueza del pueblo y las cualidades de sus moradores. A su izquierda lo adorna el Pabellón Nacional, a su derecha la bandera del municipio. se relaciona su leyenda. DIOS Y TRABAJO con su fe católica y el apego por su terruño."
