Description
Svenska: Porträtt föreställande borgmästare Eric Kihlman (1708‑1784) utförd av Johan Henrik Scheffel (1690‑1781). Olja på duk, 80 x 64 cm och troligen utförd runt år 1750.

Med påskrift a tergo: ”Denna Tafla föreställer Borgmästaren i Köping Eric Kihlman född d. 21 Jan 1708 på Tomsätra gård i Södermanland, Selebo Härad och Taxinge Sockn af Häradsbokhållaren And. Erson Kihlman och dess fru Margareta Siljeström, en dotter af Profess Helsingås i Leksand. Han har varit Magistratssekreterare i Eskilstuna och Thorshälla, sedan Borgmästare först i Sigtuna och derefter genom transport i Köping hvareft han dog f 5 Mai 1784, 76 år 3 månader och 14 dagar gammal. Dess son Mag. Lars Fr. Kihlman Prost oh Kyrkohede i Kumla, föräras tafvlan till sonen Jonas Fredrik Kihlman studerande född d 6 Dec 1810, sedan förre Egaren min K. Broder v. Pastorn och Comministern Joh. Han Kihlman sådnat proponerat."
