Deutsch: Mit Genehmigung der Bezirksregierung Trier vom 27. Januar 1966 erhielt die Gemeinde Hupperath das Recht ein eigenes Wappen zu führen.
Hirschgeweih mit Kreuz ist Attribut des Hubertus, des Pfarrpatrons von Hupperath, dessen Name wahrscheinlich Hubertus zurückgeht. Die Rodehacken weisen auf die Endsilbe des Ortsnamens. Das Wappen ist also redend. |
