Die zeitgenössischen Fantasiebilder unterscheiden sich schon in solchen Details, ob Sophie links oder rechts im Wagen saß, oder ob Princip bei der Tat einen Hut trug. Gemäß einer Fotografie kurz vor dem Attentat saß Sophie rechts, ihr Hut war auch nicht ganz so üppig.
