Description
Deutsch: Historisches Mietshaus in der Wallstraße 86 in Berlin-Mitte, erbaut 1838 für den Kaufmann Karl Tobias Krüger. Das Haus entstand zeitgleich mit den benachbarten Häusern Wallstraße 87 und 88, im Unterschied zu diesem ist hier die Fassade aber originalgetreu erhalten. Erhaltene bauzeitliche Elemente schließen die Tür an der Toreinfahrt und eine Holztreppe im Inneren ein. Das Haus ist als Baudenkmal ausgewiesen.
English: Historic tenement building at Wallstraße No. 86 in Berlin-Mitte, built 1838 for merchant Karl Tobias Krüger. The house was constructed at the same time as the neighboring buildings at Wallstraße No. 87 and 88. However, the pictured building still shows its original facade whereas the other two houses have been altered several times. Presevered original components include the wooden doorway and a wooden stairway. The building has been designated as a historic landmark.
