Description
English: This is an assessment of General Beauregard's situation at the end of the first day of fighting of the Battle of Shiloh in the American Civil War. Sources are mostly "Shiloh" by Larry J. Daniel. Smaller contributions are from "Shiloh and the Western Campaign of 1862", by O. Edward Cunningham; and "Battle Cry of Freedom" by James McPherson.
