Al confine fra la Toscana e l'Umbria, corrispondente all'antico confine fra il Granducato di Toscana e lo Stato Pontificio si trova il bellissimo lago di Chiusi, chiamato anche “Chiaro di luna” in riferimento a un'antica leggenda narra che nelle notti serene la bellissima dea del cielo venisse a contemplarsi in queste acque.
English: On the border between Tuscany and Umbria, corresponding to the ancient border between the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and the Papal State, there is the beautiful lake of Chiusi, also called "Chiaro di luna" in reference to an ancient legend that tells that in the nights serene the beautiful goddess of the sky came to contemplate herself in these waters.
