English: Joshoreshari Temple:
Joshoreshari Temple was built during the later part of the region of king Laksman Sen in the 12th century. While cutting down the forest to establish capital in this area king Pratapadittya found the ruins of this temple and among them a statute of goddess Kali made of very costly kind of stone. Then the king reestablished this temple. It is learnt from the book conquest of the book Horizon by Kabiram that,King Laksman Sen also founded this temple along with another temple named "Chando Vairabi" Mondir to the northern side.
