Deutsch: Zusammenstellung von Fotos mit Froschlurchen, die von blutsaugenden Insekten gestochen/gebissen werden. Dies kommt in der Natur wohl häufiger vor als oft angenommen. Oben links: (sub)adulter Teichfrosch, Pelophylax esculentus, mit Stechmücke (Culicidae; 4. Juli 2013); oben rechts und unten links: Jungtiere der Rotbauchunke, Bombina bombina, mit winzigen Gnitzen (cf. Forcipomyia sp.; 16. August 2008 + 20. August 2013); unten rechts: adultes Grasfrosch-Männchen, Rana temporaria, mit mehreren Stechmücken (Culex pipiens-Komplex; 18. April 2013).
