BAY OF BENGAL (Sept. 7, 2007) -Two Sea Harriers from the Indian Navy fly alongside an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 102 and an F/A-18E Super Hornet from Strike Fighter Squadron 27 during a mission for exercise Malabar 07-2 Sept. 7. More than 20,000 personnel are participating in Exercise Malabar 07-2. This multinational exercise includes naval forces from India, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the United States. VFA-102 is one of the nine squadrons assigned to the Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan-based Carrier Air Wing Five, which is assigned to USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63).
