Description
English: Inner courtyard of the Museo de San Juan de Dios in Camagüey, built in 1728 as a monastery and later used as hospital and emergency accommodation during the hurricane of 1932. One of many tinajones (clay pots) which were built for the collection of rainwater in former times.
Deutsch: Innenhof des Museo de San Juan de Dios in Camagüey, das 1728 als Kloster entstand und später als Krankenhaus und als Notunterkunft während des Wirbelsturms von 1932 diente. Unter den Bäumen ist einer der vielen tinajones (Tontöpfe) zu sehen, die in früheren Zeiten zur Speicherung von Regenwasser hergestellt wurden.
