2. Medieval lead spindle whorl
Description
English: Cast lead spindle whorl from the Medieval period. It is circular in plan and has a central circular perforation. It is slightly domed and has some decoration on the upper face. This consists of grooved lines creating lozenge/square shapes. The lower face is uneven but is not decorated. It is crudely made and has been slightly bent.
