The R32 Skyline was built from 1989-94. It was available as either a 2 door coupe or 4 door hardtop sedan. The upspec models got a 2.6 litre 6 cyl and the GTR got a twin turbo version producing over 300hp. It also got 4WD, big brakes, aluminium front guards and bonnet and front and rear guards were flared. The R32 GTR dominated Japanese Touring car races and in Australia it was nicknamed Godzilla, because it dominated there too, winning the Bathurst 1000 classic in 1991 and 1992 This is the car that won in 1992 driven by Mark Skaife and Jim Richards |
