The 1960 Cadillacs had slightly smoother, more restrained styling compared with the 59, less chrome trim, lower tailfins, the horizontal central bar in the grille gone. Still available in 4 or 6 window 4 door hardtop, the 6 window had small qtr light windows and slim pillars, whereas the 4 window, no qtr lights but the roofline cantilevered out over the rear pillars. The upmarket deVille got script on the rear fenders. The Eldorado script on the front fenders, it also got body sill moulds. The top of the line 60 Special got side mounted dummy air scoop.
