We need your help at the Wikiproject medicine
Hello, Sorry for spaming your talk page, but this is very important. On the behalf of the Wikiproject medicine at the en.wikipedia, I am inviting you to be a part of the discussion going on the project's talk page about Patient images, The discussion started after I obtained a permission to more than 23000 dermatology related images, and about 1500 radiology images. As some editors of the Wikiproject medicine have some concerns regarding the policy of using patient images on wikipedia, and regarding patient consents. Also they believe that common's policy is not so clear regarding the issue. And since you are the experts please join us at this very important discussion -- MaenK.A.Talk 14:23, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

chicken parmigiana picture
how come it's so greasy? do you make your own sauce? thank you.
- I took those pictures the first time I made it. And since it was the first time I made it, I made the mistake of using crushed tomatoes instead of pasta sauce. So it's not greasy - it's watery. I'm *very* surprised you noticed, though. Raul654 (talk) 16:10, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Bad news ;)
Back in 2006, you selected a lot of Media of the Days. I think you were also a big player in setting it up.
Since MotD was on a yearly cycle, your choices were used for five years, with only a few changing.
However, after it finishes using the test data I copied over from this cycle for May, MotD will be on a new system, similar to PotD (and, as it happens, sharing a page with PotD for the translation work, though there's also its own page)
And so, as of June 1st... your old selections are no longer the default. We have broken free of your influence.
To reinstate your influence, feel free to add any media of firm licensing status to [[Template:Motd/2010-06]}. ;)
Cheers, lad! Adam Cuerden (talk) 04:23, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'm aware of the changes you made. It's fine with me, as long as someone takes responsibility for keeping it maintained and translated. (MOTD as I set it up was quite intentionally designed to be low-maintenance).Raul654 (talk) 04:26, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Heh. Mainly joking around a bit - but, aye, it does need more people now. But I've been watching it, and, provided June goes well, I think we'll be fine.
- Honestly, the main reason I did the upgrade was it was a little too low maintenance: Not enough people were watching it, so it was being used to sneak copyvio onto the main page. By combining it with PotD, there's a lot more eyes on it. I don't know if that'll be enough, but it can't hurt, and, in a few months, we will hopefully have enough people that we can go to the next level, and have an approval process. =) Adam Cuerden (talk) 04:31, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Your recipes
Hi Raul, Giorgio writing. Thinking and thinking about your pictures, I have finished to become a great fan of your recipes. Forget what I wrote you in the past. Now, I have understood your way of illustrating. Yes, true, your pics are all mute and without description, but pictures alone are more than enough to fully understand the recipe, leaving, anyway, the cook to use his own fantasy. How I could be so blind. It's simply brilliant. Thank you very much for such an innovative way to use Commons. We are all waiting for more. Me, for sure. Sincerely your.--Giorgiomonteforti (talk) 15:56, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
- Imagination is not required - I'll be adding the recipe to wikibooks sooner or later. Raul654 (talk) 17:27, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Copyvio
The file:Follow The Drinking Gourd.ogg isn't, I think, in public domain. The song is probably, but there is no prove of release in this license by the singers. Nemoi a parlé le 12:04, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Seeing as how Internet Archive took it down, you're probably right.; (If memory serves, it was previously posted there with a PD notice) Raul654 (talk) 16:49, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank God I found you!
I sure hope you're still online, old friend. Please see the message I left here: [1]. I don't think this fellow is online and I pray that you are. Can you help an old, worn out Wikipedian? Thanks!! PMDrive1061 (talk) 03:14, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yea, I'm still up. What do you need? Raul654 (talk) 03:25, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
Nice to see you, I can assure you. Sorry about the redirect; I really had left the project for a little while and I forgot to change the redirect. The files are [2] and [3]. I think I still have your e-mail address, so I'll drop you a howdy if I do with an explanation. Thanks for the help; this really is urgent. PMDrive1061 (talk) 21:04, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
PS: PLease add [4] and [5]. Thanks, pal. :) --PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:30, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

cc-by-sa-3.5
Hi, you uploaded several files with a cc-by-sa-3.5 license (Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:CC-BY-SA-3.5). The current version of CC is only 3.0. So technically there is no valid license information on these files. You might want to re-tag them as cc-by-sa-3.0. Thanks --Slomox (talk) 20:20, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks - I've fixed them. Raul654 (talk) 03:58, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Out of process deletions
Note that only identical or sized down duplicates can be speedily deleted, see Commons:Deletion policy. Different artwork photos generally should never be speedily deleted, such cases usually are not trivial enough and require community review, i.e. regular DR. For example, you have deleted File:The gross clinic thomas eakins.jpeg (I've already restored it), but it was higher resolution, and moreover it was completely different, pre-2009 restoration version! Hi, you marked the image as PD-old even though you marked the author as "unknown". PD-1923 is all you can really claim, I fixed that. Please also add categories to an image you upload, you're an admin after all, thanks. Hekerui (talk) 15:40, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
