I wanted to tell you that I agree with the objection raised. Probably an inattention. I corrected the chemical structure. Grasso Luigi (talk) 18:46, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the quick fix! Marbletan (talk) 13:28, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

No permission
Hi, You must inform the uploader when you tag a file with "no permission" (or any other tag). Thanks, Yann (talk) 21:15, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reminder. I usually do, but must have missed doing so on some files. I can't seem to locate them, so I guess you've deleted them? Marbletan (talk) 21:18, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi. I want to inform you about this image: File:Sorin Cerin.jpg. I don't understand why when I'm not logged in and I access the image, a link to a sandbox from the Japanese wikipedia always appears where this image called File:Sorin Cerin.jpg is not used at all. Especially since the sandbox in question was deleted at my request, believing that this link would disappear. But even though the sandbox was deleted, the link did not disappear. The link is this: Usage on ja.wikipedia.org users-talk:Bineart/sandbox This link goes to a page that not only no longer exists, but does not even use or has never used this image. Therefore, please delete this link from File usage on other wikis related to this image. Thank you.Bineart (talk) 16:06, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- I don't see the link that you refer to. Perhaps it is related to your browser's cache. I suggest clearing your browser's cache. If that doesn't work, I do not know what caused the problem or how to fix it. Marbletan (talk) 17:14, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
Why did you remove the description? - Chris.sherlock2 (talk) 13:22, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- I've come across company categories with descriptions that make it clear that they were created for promotional purposes. I usually remove the promotional content and sometimes these pages get speedy deleted. With its advert-like text ("custom piping solutions", etc.) and external link to the company website, this one seemed just like that to me. Marbletan (talk) 16:49, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- They literally do custom piping. It says it in their name, so I don’t know why you would have considered that promotional. The description was barebones and had a sources list to show where the material came from. Anyway, I’ve got no connection with the company and I’m not promoting it so I’ve restored the description I wrote. - Chris.sherlock2 (talk) 20:09, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
Undelete file
You deleted a file I uploaded because I didn't "show prove of permission by the author" even though I am the author of the work I uploaded. Please undelete it now. WonderManimal (talk) 14:41, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- I am not a site administrator, so I am unable to delete or undelete any file. There are instructions in the message on your talk page about how to supply proof of permission to Wikimedia Commons, or you can make a request at Commons:Undeletion requests. I hope this helps. Regards, Marbletan (talk) 14:51, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- Like I said, it is my own work. I don't need to supply proof of permission to upload my work. Thank you for the help. WonderManimal (talk) 15:27, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
Any reason to keep this as a redirect? I don't even think it's a correct redirect: I'm pretty certain that Spanish Artista plástica refers to creating three-dimensional works (if not, I've been misusing a term in a language where I am close to fluent); most of what is in Category:Visual artists (the target) is two-dimensional. - Jmabel ! talk 20:17, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Jmabel: The category was just a block of inappropriate text, so I replaced it with a redirect. I think I used Google translate, which says "Artista plástica" means "Visual artist". I'm not sure it's the best target, or if even a redirect is really needed. I have no objection to it simply being deleted or redirected to different target of someone's choice. Marbletan (talk) 12:30, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- I think this was one of the (many) cases where Google Translate is out of its depth. I'll probably nominate for deletion. - Jmabel ! talk 14:57, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
File:Queen-Ugobeze.jpg
I wonder whether you may consider withdrawing your deletion nomination of File:Queen-Ugobeze.jpg. As you may know, the uploader has repeatedly created vanity pages on en.wikipedia, using sockpuppet accounts. The pages have been deleted and the accounts blocked, but it is likely that she will come back again with yet more accounts. In this situation it can be very helpful for there to be an image which the editor keeps putting in the new pages that they create, because I can keep checking whether the image is currently being used in any page, and if so delete the page and block the account that created it. However, if the image is deleted then it's very likely that it will be re-created under a new title, so it isn't possible to watch out for it, and the new spam page may go unnoticed. JBW (talk) 15:46, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- @JBW: Have you considered watchlisting User:SteinsplitterBot/Previously deleted files? You would be able to monitor for re-upload of the deleted file even if the filename is changed (and watch for any other re-uploaded file as well). In any case, it doesn't make much difference to me either way - if you would like to remove the deletion tag from File:Queen-Ugobeze.jpg, please feel free to do so. I won't object. Marbletan (talk) 16:51, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- I didn't know about User:SteinsplitterBot/Previously deleted files. I'll have a look at it. Thanks for pointing it out to me. JBW (talk) 21:41, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
