Description
Nederlands: In de vijfhoek die het terrasje/pleintje vormt op de kruising Marktstraat- St.-Luciastraat, is de vorm van de oude vestingstad in de bestrating aangebracht. In de stoeprand zijn historische namen Walraven van Valkenburg en Reinout van Valkenburg aangebracht; en ook de tekst "1380 Stadrechten 1980", ter ere van het 600-jarig jubileum hiervan. Walraven was de stichter in 1360 en zijn halfbroer gaf het plaatsje 20 jaar later stadsrechten.
