Summary
editDescriptionThe Old Guildford Road - geograph.org.uk - 49748.jpg |
English: The Old Guildford Road. Before the Army acquired the heathland around Aldershot, there used to be a road running from Frimley Green towards Guildford. The middle stretch of the road is now within the danger area although its course can still be traced across Pirbright Common to Henley Gate. From the Frimley End the old road still exists and serves a number of houses. Beyond the houses it exists only as a rather muddy and potholed byway to Tunnel Hill. |
