Description
Español: La reina Isabel II patrocina el desarrollo del monumento a Felipe IV (1843). Destaca la estatua ecuestre de Felipe IV, de difícil ejecución por su estabilidad, tomando el modelo pictórico de Velázquez y realizada en bronce por Pietro Tacca di Carrara (1640). El busto es modulado por el escultor real, Juan Martínez Montañez.
