This file is in the public domain because it comes from the Oregon Supplement to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, sign number OR12-5, which incorporates the federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices by reference and states on p. 2 that "this document supplements the 2009 Edition of the MUTCD, dated December 2009. Both the Oregon Supplement and the MUTCD need to be consulted when researching traffic control issues." The federal MUTCD states specifically on its page I-1 that:
