Description

Four Nebraska Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to a Lincoln-based aviation unit were wished well during a send-off ceremony, April 12, at the Nebraska Army National Guard’s Army Aviation Support Facility No. 1 in Lincoln, Neb. The Soldiers are members of Detachment 1, Company A, 641st Aviation Regiment. The detachment is a C-12 unit, which will be responsible for providing aviation support in the U.S. Africa Command area of operations as part of Operation Enduring Freedom – Horn of Africa. The mission is expected to last approximately 10 months.
