Português: Antártica, ontem. Continuamos tentando imagear a Estação Comandante Ferraz; novamente sem sucesso por estar coberta por nuvens. Entretando conseguimos imagear a 9 km de distância atravessando a Baía do Almirantado, a Estação Antártica Polonesa Henryk Arctowski. A estação fica ao N da área em cor vermelha, oásis de vegetação com tundra antártica, no alto da imagem. Nessa imagem PAN10m falsa cor, RGB423, vegetação em terra aparece em vermelho, e clorofila, i.e. atividade biológica, na água em verde. Águas com menos atividade biológica em preto. Rochas e solo exposto em cinza arroxeado. Nuvens, neve e gelo em branco / King George Island, yesterday. We keep trying to image Ferraz Brazilian Antarctic Station; again without success because of cloud cover. Though we were able to image a nearby area, about 9 miles across Admiralty Bay, were sits Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station. Station is N of image top red color area, an antarctic tundra vegetation oasis. Here at this false color RGB 423 PAN10m image, vegetation appears on earth in red, and chlorophyll, i.e. biological activity, at sea in green. Poorer waters in black. Rocks and exposed soil in purpleish grey. Clouds, snow and ice in white.
