English: A golden-armed, red-tongued black double-headed eagle with bundles of four golden thunderbolts in each fang, on the breast covered with a black-red embroidered shield bordered in gold, in front a natural-colored peacock – displaying its pride – the whole under an ermine-lined golden-fringed purple mantle, which falls from the Albanian princely crown. Blue banner with Wied's motto "FIDELITATE ET VERITATE" in golden letters".
Deutsch: Ein goldenbewehrter, rotgezungter schwarzer Doppeladler mit Bündeln von je vier goldenen Blitzen in den Fängen, auf der Brust belegt mit einem Schild, darin innerhalb eines schwarz-rot gestückten Schildrandes in Gold ein radschlagender naturfarbener Pfau in Frontstellung, das Ganze unter einem hermelingefütterten goldengesäumten purpurnen Fürstenmantel, der aus der albanischen Fürstenkrone herabfällt. Blaues Spruchband mit dem Wiedschen Wahlspruch "FIDELITATE ET VERITATE" in goldenen Buchstaben.
