Bahasa Indonesia: Makam Prof. Dr. Achmad Mochtar di Ereveld Ancol, Jakarta, Indonesia pada upacara peringatan tanggal 3 Juli 2013. Prof. Mochtar adalah orang Indonesia pertama yang menjabat sebagai direktur Lembaga Eijkman. Beliau dituduh mengkontaminasi vaksin kemudian dihukum pancung oleh tentara Jepang pada tahun 1945. Jenazahnya tidak diketahui keberadaannya selama 65 tahun, hingga pada akhirnya di tahun 2010 diketahui berada di Ereveld Ancol setelah ditemukan oleh penerusnya Prof. Sangkot Marzuki dan Kevin Baird. English: The grave of Prof. Dr. Achmad Mochtar in Ereveld, Ancol, Jakarta, Indonesia during memorial service on July 3, 2013. Prof. Mochtar was the first Indonesian director of Eijkman Institute, who was wrongly accused of contaminating vaccines and was beheaded by Japanese soldiers in 1945. His resting place remained unknown for 65 years, after finally in 2010 the location was found by his successor Prof. Sangkot Marzuki and Kevin Baird. |
