| Description | This camouflaged centre bunker was built with five embrasures for light machine guns (LMG) and an exhaust pipe from the machine room. It stands about 40 m off-center from the elevator shaft. The entrance is above the lift-motor, but since renovation works, it's difficult to climb up. The original hatch has been fitted with a ventilation duct. The bunker was used then only as spent air heat exchange system, and as exhaust system. The emergency exit was also eliminated for the exhaust air installation. St. Margrethenberg, Switzerland, Nov 25, 2011. |
