English: Fly Agaric This mushroom was growing in the car park at the Otter Pool. It is found growing regularly in this area.
Fly Agaric was used by the Druids and Celtic folks of Ireland and western Scotland. It was called "Flesh of the Gods" or "Food of the Gods". It was only eaten by druids and other people trained to use magic as it was considered too powerful for ordinary folk to eat. |
