Summary
editEnglish: The center and eastern parts of the Los Angeles Basin. Hollywood in foreground.
- The entire basin is (sub)urbanized, except for some small farming spots around Long Beach and into the Inland Empire, about 20-30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
- Taken by Lan56 in early January 2005 around 4 P.M. PST from Mulholland Drive over the Hollywood Bowl.
- Note: the Downtown Los Angeles skyline (the tallest of buildings in the far left) looks small and with few buildings, however, this is due to the angle the photo was taken. The streets through downtown are lined up with the stop on Mulholland Drive the photo was taken from, so there are many buildings that are hidden and blend in with other buildings.
