Near Orosí, Costa Rica. Not sure if this is a colorado beetle because of the red head. For the flower it is on see Image: DirkvdM_coloradobeetleflower.jpg

It's certainly not a "typical" colorado beetle - these have far more and thinner black stripes and a nearly round shape. Probably no Leptinotarsa at all. Dysmorodrepanis 15:24, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
