Summary

Description
English: Crag, Ben Vorlich Like almost all hills around the narrow upper reaches of Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne, Ben Vorlich is very craggy. There are no continuous faces, but lots of small - up to 30m high crags of mica schist. Often formed as landslip headwalls they are quite formidable obstacles in descent, especially as the east gullies between them have a habit of icing up. The appearance of paths has reduced the "exposure" to that little game, but there is still plenty of scope for exploration on this relatively little trodden ridge.
