Description

La Conferencia de las Partes (COP), órgano de decisión supremo de la Convención Marco de Naciones Unidas sobre cambio climático, tiene lugar en Madrid entre el 2 y el 13 de diciembre de 2019. Casa de América quiere también conciencian sobre el cambio climático y se suma la iniciativa de Castellana verde, el eje verde que atraviesa la ciudad y en la que las instituciones que formamos parte de ella haremos hincapié en la necesidad de preservar el medio en el que vivimos.

Para ello, Casa de América ha desplegado dos lonas sobre la fachada principal de su sede en la plaza de Cibeles en las que puede verse las líneas que marcan la subida de la temperatura promedio entre 1901 y 2018, de la iniciativa #ShowYourStripes, en Chile y en España. A través de colores puedes apreciarse como sube desde los tonos azules claros, que indican temperaturas medias bajas, hasta alcanzar en la actualidad los rojos más intensos, que reflejan una crecimiento notable en la temperatura promedio actual.
