Summary
editDescriptionBaragraph Storm October 1987.svg |
English: Atmospheric pressure during the Storm of October 1987 recorded on a barograph with a pivoted arm at the BP Research Laboratories, Sunbury, Surrey. The image shows that the minimum pressure at 03:00 on 16 October 1987 was 72.1 cm Hg (961 HPa), rising to 73.5 cm Hg (979 KPa) one hour later. The very steep rise in pressure that followed the minimum is indicative of very high winds. |
