This media file has been nominated for deletion since 5 December 2024. To discuss it, please visit the nomination page.
Do not remove this tag until the deletion nomination is closed. Reason for the nomination: The author claimed of these files is Charles Maurice Detmold (1883-1908), but the work was apparently commissioned to him and his brother Edward Julius Detmold (1883-1957) according to The Guardian, and for example credits the latter as the author of File:The Return Of The Buffalo Herd (1903) Charles Maurice Detmold.jpg. The original book, that was published in London, is available in the Library of Congress [1] and corroborates the joint authorship since the book is credited to "Messrs Maurice & Edward Detmold" (note: Messrs is the plural of Mr.) As it is a joint work and the protection in the UK is 70 years pma. These works are protected until 2028 in its country of origin.
