| Description |
English: Photograph of Barbara ("Basia", 1949-74), daughter of Kit and Marjan Grodyński, granddaughter of Stanisław and great-granddaughter of dr Andrzej Kusionowicz Grodyński, on the day of her wedding in Georgetown, Guyana (formerly British Guiana). Barbara's marriage to Moen McDoom, shortly after her eighteenth birthday, unfortunately did not last and within a few years they separated and Barbara returned to London. Another unsuccessful marriage followed, after her second husband David Wilson abandoned her and their newly born child who was seriously ill, and at the age of only twenty-five Barbara's life tragically ended in a fatal train accident.
