Rationale

Reason: Alvinho is currently blocked as a result of Commons:Administrators' noticeboard#User:Alvinho (permanent link). The small selection of example logs and diffs that follows indicates that Alvinho on Commons is the same as pt:User:Gomes Netto on the Portuguese Wikipedia, and that pt:User:Gomes Netto on the Portuguese Wikipedia is the same as Gomes Netto on Commons. Both accounts here on Commons have been used to upload files with missing source or licensing information/copyright violations. Both Commons accounts have been actively used during September and October in what appears to be an attempt to avoid scrutiny.

I suggest blocking Gomes Netto for the remainder of Alvinho's block to avoid block evasion and then converting Alvinho's block to indefinite as a non-legitimate second account. If a check reveals additional accounts, further measures may be needed.

And also using the new sockpuppet Life 2010 (talk • contribs • Luxo's • SUL • deleted contribs • logs • block user • block log ) to upload the copyright violation File:Vargas-in-Time-Magazine.jpeg and to recreate File:Getúlio Vargas - 1941.jpg as File:Vargas(1941).jpeg, both added to pt:Getúlio Vargas by Gomes Netto. As the user is now actively refusing to get a clue, I'm calling for a block of all involved IP addresses and permanent blocking of User:Gomes Netto and User:Life 2010. —LX (talk, contribs) 21:39, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
