Hoppé was a German-born British photographer who died in 1972, so his photos are still protected in the UK until the end of 2042. While some of his photos may have been published in the US first and are in the PD there if pre-1924, these photos are from British magazine Tatler and therefore presumably of British origin. They should be deleted and can be restored in 2043.

Kept: I withdraw this request, because apparently the "Tatler" in question is not the British mag, but an American magazine called "The Tatler". So those pre-1924 photos are probably PD-US. --Rosenzweig τ 21:55, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
