COM:NETCOPYVIO. The file was uploaded in 2019, but it's obviously a derivative image of this photo, which was seen posted in 2018 on Reddit at https://www.reddit.com/r/nintendo/comments/8joihk/this_is_the_last_remaining_nintendo_playstation/ Graywalls (talk) 05:46, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Yann: , you claim that this is NOT a copyright violation, but did not explain why. The photo was posted on Reddit in 2018, which verifies it existed prior to the upload date of 2019. The title of the Reddit post says it was taken at "MO Game Con 2017", however that's original research. What's absolutely certain is that the Reddit post existed in 2018, the file was not uploaded until 2019. Per NETCOPYVIO we can't transfer contents from the internet like this. Why is this NOT a copyright violation? Regardless of the true origin of the picture, any reasonable person would know that the picture on Reddit is the source. Even the personal belongings on the edge of the table and the photographer's shadow is the same. Graywalls (talk) 05:50, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
