This image you have for MOH Henry Hoffman is clearly incorrect for its uniform is that of a high ranking Army officer and not that of a Corporal that was the highest rank MOH Henry Hoffman achieved during the Civil War. Unfortunately this image is plastered all over the Internet and I am writing the different websites asking for it to be corrected.

The intended file name was Geothermal.Electricity.NZ.NgaAwaPurua.png to correspond with the names for other stations and attempt to be globally organised, but I became confused in the late evening as to what fields were which, and couldn't see how to rename the file. Deleting, and then re-uploading the file (and not changing its file name) seems the only way ahead. As it happens, on viewing the image, I thought to make a slight adjustment to the annotation, so a new version is ready.NickyMcLean (talk) 07:32, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

This file is now obsolete. It would have been replaced by an updated file (with a further decade's worth of data plotted), but the site now has two power stations, named A and B. Thus where there was a Geothermal.Electricity.NZ.Ngawha.png, there is now Geothermal.Electricity.NZ.Ngawha.A.png and Geothermal.Electricity.NZ.Ngawha.B.png with file Geothermal.Electricity.NZ.Ngawha.png no longer in use. This file was initially tagged by Gyrostat as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: It has been determined several months back that Oliver Got is a photojournalist for the newspaper Midi Libre, and that this Flickr account was used to trick Commons users. This is copyvio washing. This user has been blocked on fr.wp for sockpuppettery and undisclosed paid editing. See User:Oliviergot..

- The artist has just added the information on her Flickr page that she holds the rights on the picture. Do you want me to have this confirmed by her with an original signature and send it over as a document? Actually I was following the instructions which say that pictures under a Creative Commons License published by an artist on Flickr are perfectly legitimate. - May I ask you to countercheck the information under "Info" on Heike Hagen aka Velve's Flickr Page. She is a musician, but also a videoartist and thus obviously created the photo shootage herself. She's giving detailed information on being the label owner of Velve Music and holding the copyrights of all photos and artwork uploaded there. Do you have any further requests rsp. questions? - The website www.srikanta-sastri.org is managed by the family members of Dr. S. Srikanta Sastri (historian). The family members who are running this website are well known to me personally. We as a team have been collecting and collating these archival photographs of numerous personalities. Since your over-zealous and hasty deletions came forth, I have been in communication with the immediate family members. They were kind enough to share this link on their website where they state unequivocally that they are setting free all content on their site (unless otherwise specified) under the Creative Commons License. Furthermore, for every dispute that Wikipedia Editors may raise about content sourced from the above website, they are happy to send (by email) a letter under their letter head clarifying their position. I once more re-iterate there is no Copyright violation. You have further more taken the trouble to warn others to 'police' all of my other uploads! I must insist that I am not in the business of plagiarising content willy nilly. We are respectable people doing good respectable work (with zero anticipation of any remuneration or fame). Deleted: per nomination. The website states "The site sets free in the public domain its content to the fullest extent covered under the creative commons license". This is rather confusing. The owner of the website does not give evidence why these old photos fall in PD, or wheter there is permission of the authors to publish with CCBYSA (which is impossible for old photos). There appears insufficient knowledge about copyright.
