A montage is an image that is made up of a combination of separate images. As far as possible, please place images in a suitable subcategory.

Place images of artworks created by assembling different elements such as found objects, newspaper cuttings and photographs on to a backing in "Category:Collages".
Place composite images made by blending together several photographs in such a way that the individual photographs can no longer be easily distinguished in "Category:Photomontages".

This is a main category requiring frequent diffusion and maybe maintenance. As many pictures and media files as possible should be moved into appropriate subcategories.
