Custom sewing and costume construction for $20.00 per hour. I have 40 years of experience constructing all kinds of garments and costume accessories. All periods accepted. Fabric/Material, Notions, etc. provided by client. Please note that fabric choice can affect the amount of time needed for construction. (for example: Velvet is harder to sew than a plain weave cotton; tailoring takes longer than an unstructured garment). I will be very honest about estimated hours necessary for any project, and will ask about the level of finish details requested and the time this takes. This does not indicate quality of work - only the level of finishing details. (for example - serged seam edges, or bound seam edges for a more couture look.
