Heat up some oil and fry for a few minutes until golden brown and crispy. Oven method: Mix with a little oil, place on a baking tray and bake at 200C for 20mins. Tofu is quite a versatile ingredient and it really shines in this recipe. The combo of the seared tofu with the super flavorful peanut sauce and all the fixings is outstanding. Make this for your loved ones, and they’ll love you even more ❤️ ingredients 3 heaping tbsp peanut butter 2/3 cup coconut milk 2 tbsp maple syrup 1 to 2 tbsp sriracha (depending on spice preference) 1 tbsp sesame oil 3 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp grated garlic 1 tbsp grated ginger 1 lime, juiced 1 block extra or super firm tofu, drained, dried, & cut into 16 evenly sized cubes oil, salt, & pepper as needed 1 handful cilantro, finely chopped 2 scallions, thinly sliced on the bias 1/2 cup crushed peanuts 1 tsp white & black sesame seeds 1 tbsp chili crisp oil rice for serving prep in a large bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, coconut milk, maple syrup, sriracha, sesame oil, soy sauce, 1 large pinch salt, black pepper to taste, garlic, ginger, & lime. set aside. heat a cast iron pan over medium-high heat and allow to heat up a 2-3 mins. place 4 cubes tofu on each small skewer. add 3-4 tbsp neutral cooking oil to the pan and sear the tofu. season the tofu in the pan with a large pinch of salt and black pepper to taste. sear on all four sides, about 1-2 mins per side, or until each side is golden brown. pour half the peanut sauce over the tofu in the pan. continue to flip tofu, searing for another 1-2 mins each side, or until desired texture and color. serve tofu skewers over rice and finish with extra peanut sauce, cilantro, scallion, crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, and chili crisp. enjoy, my friends 🙏 Comment "😍" if you want to try this! |

Divide into 10 pieces and roll into noodles (you should keep them shorter than I did cause mine broke while boiling). Cook in salted water until they float on top and serve with your favorite sauce, I used this peanut sauce: -1 heaped TSp peanut butter -juice of 1/2 lime -1 Tsp soy sauce -1 Tsp maple syrup -optionally 1 Tsp sriracha Mix and toss in the noodles. - Tofu-Nudeln 🍜 Wer hätte gedacht, dass man Tofu in Nudeln verwandeln kann … oder wie ich sie gerne nenne: Tofoodles!🤭 REZEPT (1 Portion, 25 Minuten Zubereitungszeit): -1 Block (200 g) Naturtofu -75g Mehl -eine Prise Salz Entweder den Tofu in einer Schüssel zerkrümeln und kneten bis ein Teig entsteht, oder in einer Küchenmaschine mixen, bis ein Teig entsteht. In 10 Stücke teilen und zu Nudeln rollen (macht sie besser etwas kürzer als ich, da meine beim Kochen kaputt gegangen sind). In Salzwasser kochen, bis sie oben schwimmen, und mit deiner Lieblingssauce servieren. Garlic Pepper Tofu - thin strips of extra firm tofu cooked down in a savoury sauce packed with all the garlicky and peppery goodness. I used a peeler to get thin strips of extra firm tofu that I air-fry to draw out any excess moisture and cook down in the sauce to soak up all the flavours. Adding other vegetables to the stir-fry is a great way to use up any extra produce and add in those veggies. Serve this over rice to make a delicious bowl for lunch or dinner.
