For this vintage cat pail I used a pumpkin from goodwill and glued it to a bowl with E6000 I let that dry overnight and then I covered it in modpodge and paper towels While that dried I soaked 4 egg cartons in water to soften them up Then I blended them into a pulp. I used a nut milk bag to squeeze the water out of the pulp and then I mixed the pulp with Elmer’s school glue to make my paper mache paste I covered my cat in it and it was still pretty lumpy so I poured a bit of glue and smoothed it with my fingers This step is very important if you don’t want a lumpy surface. After that I left it out to dry in the sun When it was completely dry I painted it, covered the handle in twine and that’s it!
