English oak dining table commissioned for a private client's lakeside house in the Cotswolds, England. Made from several slabs of live edge oak, the timber grain and figure is different for each tabletop. The natural shapes and patterns of the live edge oak have been inset into the top to form a wave-like pattern, it reminds me of aerial views of landscapes or river beds, this is continued across the legs with the horizontal grain. Finished with a clear oil.
