It’s a great balance of greens and fruit, and helps you get both of these vital nutrients into your body right away. There is also zero frozen fruit in this, so it’s a great one going into Fall and Winter. If you still prefer a colder smoothie, use cold water instead of room temperature water and use a frozen banana instead of a fresh one. If you don’t have all of the ingredients, let the recipe be a guide and use what you do have! One large 32 oz smoothie: 1.5 cups water 3 handfuls of spinach or power greens 1 banana 1 apple 1 pear 1/2 cucumber or 3 celery sticks 1/2 lemon, I leave the peel on when I buy organic ones & take off when I don’t - there are benefits in the pee

This is a great one to make during our cycle ladies! It’s a hug in a mug and the warming spices have so many health benefits. 1 1/2 cups almond milk 1 tsp ground turmeric 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon 1 tsp ground ginger 1/8 tsp cardamom Pinch of black pepper 1 TBSP maple syrup - use a little less if desired. Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth. Add to a small saucepan on the stovetop and simmer 5-7 minutes. Of course fresh is always ideal as it contains the most enzymes/nutrients, but it’s still beneficial to drink up to 72 hrs. Fill your glass containers up to the tippy top so that there is very little air for oxidation. This is when stored in the fridge. If storing in the freezer, leave about an inch as liquid expands when frozen. Adding lemons or limes preserves juices as well. For this reason, I personally wouldn’t batch juice plain celery juice. I’ve done it and didn’t feel the cleansing effect & vitality from it like I do when it’s juiced day of. (My husband Mark didn’t either.). It also just seems “flat” and not appealing
