The composite samples are manufactured for various fiber loads by Injection moulding technique. Kenaf filaments having better elasticity contrasted and date palm fiber. Because of that reason, kenaf as base material and date palm fiber as filler. To research the mechanical traits of elastic, flexural, impact and hardness tests were proceeded according to ASTM standard. The mechanical test outcomes uncovered an ordinary pattern of an expansion in malleable, flexural, effect and hardness properties to adding common filaments. Great grip between the normal filaments and the polyester matrix is additionally liable for the successful mechanical ability. This outcome infers that kenaf and date palm fiber have.

With the increase of indentation loads from macro to nano, a decrease in Young’s modulus and indentation hardness values was observed as a result of the indentation size effect in the alloys. During the loading procedure in macro, micro and nano indentations, the loading curves progressively moved upwards, showing the increase in resistance of the alloys with the increase in indentation load. Compared the depth-sensing instrumented indentation hardness of alloys with the conventional indentation hardness at micro loads, the magnitude of the depth-sensing instrumented indentation hardness is 10-25% greater than the conventional indentation hardness. The reason for this variation is explained as the depth-sensing instrumented indentation hardness is calcu...

This is because there is a new trend for custom, high-precision, and on-demand manufacturing. The undesired residual stress induced in the components during layer-by-layer melting and solidification of the metal powder is an important issue related to the selective laser melting (SLM) process that needs to be studied deeply. These stresses may impair mechanical performance and potentially result in premature failure. As a result, a thorough knowledge of residual stress is crucial for improved component dependability. By keeping constant process parameters, samples were produced with a difference in the scanning method. Results indicate that the defect-free parts are manufactured in all the four patterns used, and the self-balanced residual stresses are within the safe limits of yield strength.

Plastic pinion wheels give various favourable circumstances over metal ones. They weigh less, have lower idleness, and have better opposition in numerous destructive conditions. Plastic cog wheels likewise generally cost not exactly metal ones and can incorporate get together highlights into a plan. The PA outfits additionally have various disadvantages. For instance, it has a low burden – conveying limit, helpless warmth opposition, and short assistance life. The improvement in the life of polyamide outfits consistently relies on the decrease of hotness aggregation on the tooth side. The goal of the undertaking is to foresee the hotness collection and increment the heap conveying capacity on the tooth side of the polyamide gears (PAG). To Avoid this aggregation of warmth; air-cooling openings made on the plastic stuff tooth side in various areas, with the expectation of bringing down tooth hotness by moving the warmth away from the tooth throughout these openings by means of convection.

Out of the 30 cases 27 were males and remaining 3 were females. In 25 cases out of 30 (83%), the Femoral Vein was medial to Artery. In 5 cases (17%) the Femoral Vein was Postero-medial to the femoral artery. Among the 5 cases 2 cases had more than 50% overlap. No one had femoral vein completely posterior to femoral artery. In our study the mean Femoral artery size was 7.3 mm (SD-1.4) in Antero-posterior dimension and 7.5 mm (SD-1.4) in horizontal dimension. This has important implications while cannulating the artery for vascular access. Conclusion: We conclude that there is a distinct variation in the anatomical location of the femoral artery and vein. In 17% of individuals the vein is located Postero-medial to the artery, among them one third have significant overlap (>50%) of artery and vein. This may have implicate during the femoral artery access.

In this chapter an attempt has been made to carry out multi-objective optimization of the surface roughness (SR) and material removal rate (MRR) for the ECM process of EN 19 on a CNC ECM machine using copper electrode through evolutionary optimization techniques like teaching-learning-based optimization (TLBO) technique and biogeography-based optimization (BBO) technique. The input parameters considered are electrolyte concentration, voltage, feed rate, inter-electrode gap. TLBO and BBO techniques were used to obtain maximum MRR and minimum SR. In addition, obtained optimized values were validated for testing the significance of the TLBO and BBO techniques, and a very small error value of MRR and SR was found. BBO outperformed TLBO in every aspect like less percentage error and better-optimized values; however, TLBO took less computation time than the BBO.
