Quilts are handmade using your favorite shirts, scarves, bandanas, jeans and much more. These pictured were created out of.loved ones clothing to create lasting memories. Your shirts or other clothing will be mailed to us and once we receive your clothing, we will let you know that they arrived safely. Items are stabilized to prevent stretching and to add durability. They are then carefully cut into blocks. After shirts are prepped the creating process begins. We will send you pictures of fabric choices that best enhances your quilt to allow you to choose fabric colors for your quilt. I am open to any suggestions you have. This is a handmade throw size rag quilt made from reclaimed denim. The front is made up of various blue denim colors and blends with quilters cotton in sock monkey print and coordinating red in a checkerboard fashion on the back. It has a grey fleece inner layer which makes this quilt super soft and comfy. I consider this a heavy weight quilt that consists of 48 - 9 inch blocks that are sewn with an X and ragged for a unique look. It is a nice ample throw size measuring 48 inches x 64 inches and finished with a binded edge. It has been washed and dried one time after construction to induce the fraying process and will continue to get softer and fluffier with each washing.
